Plain language, because that is how we run the rest of the business. This page says what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. Last updated 27 Aug 2026.

## What we collect

When you call, email or book service, we collect what we need to do the job: your name, company, phone number, email address, the site address, and details about the doors and equipment being serviced. If you are a maintenance-program customer, we also keep the service history for each door on your property, because that log is part of what you are paying for.

## What we use it for

- Scheduling, dispatching and performing the work you asked for
- Quotes, invoices and service records
- Contacting you about work in progress, or about a door we have flagged for follow-up

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. It is shared only with the software and providers we use to run the business, such as scheduling and invoicing software, and only as far as running your job requires.

## This website

The website has no accounts, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies. When you visit, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site fast and secure, as almost every website’s host does. If we add a booking form or basic visit statistics later, this page will be updated to say so first.

## How long we keep it

Customer and job records are kept for as long as we need them to stand behind the work, honour warranties, and meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations, and then disposed of.

We handle personal information in accordance with the federal [Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)](https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/P-8.6/).
