High-speed door and rolling shutter service
Two door types that live on the busiest and most exposed openings a business has. High-speed doors run the interior and exterior openings that cycle constantly, and rolling steel shutters and grilles secure storefronts, service counters, parking garages and yards after hours. High-speed doors
A high-speed door earns its place on an opening that cycles all day: between a warehouse and a cold room, between production and shipping, or on an exterior bay that cannot stay open long. They fail differently from a sectional door: torn or creased curtains, bottom-bar and breakaway resets, photo-eye and loop-detector faults, and controllers that stop responding. We service the curtain, the drive, the controls and the safety devices, and we install new high-speed doors sized to the opening and its cycle count. Rolling shutters and security grilles
Rolling steel shutters and grilles use the same curtain-and-guide construction as a rolling steel door, scaled for storefronts, counters, parkades and yard openings. The common failures are bent or jammed slats, worn guides, spring counterbalance wear on manual units, and operators or locks that stop working at exactly closing time. We repair and replace shutters and grilles, and install new ones where an opening needs to be secured after hours. Signs these doors need service
- High-speed door reverses, stalls, or runs at reduced speed
- Curtain torn, creased, or pulled out of the side guides
- Bottom bar breakaway has been hit and not reset properly
- Photo eyes, loop detectors or pull cords not triggering the door
- Shutter binds partway, or the slats are bent from impact
- Shutter lock or operator fails at closing time and the opening cannot be secured

- Curtain, guides, drive and safety checkThe technician checks the curtain and guides, the drive or counterbalance, the controls and every safety device before quoting.
- Repair or replacementGuide hardware, bottom-bar parts, photo eyes and common controls ride on the truck. Curtains and new doors are ordered and fitted on a stated date.
